This course has the goal of training students to learn about: 1) the characteristics, importance and negative impact
of the main weed species present in agriculture; 2) the understanding of weed ecology principles, weed genetics
and evolution, weed demography and population dynamics and evolutionary processes regulating population
density; and 3) the weed and crop interference and principles of weed management methods.
